How to communicate effectively to closed minded colleague?

My problem, the boss is equally closed minded, thinking, that he's a "moral police" or something.
New ideas not welcome, the answer always "cant be done", bla, bla, bla.

It's not that effective communication on your part "can't be done," but if you're dealing with people who can't hear you for whatever reason you might as well be communicting effectively with a wall. If you're sure you're doing the best you can but it isn't working, then the problem isn't you. Once you determine that, you have to decide where you go from there. If you're in a toxic situation that isn't going to change, then it might be time to leave.

In my opinion I think you better try to be friends with your boss first it your boss do not want to be your friend just leave him alone because the time will come that he will realize what you are suggesting to him is right.Try to be more patient in the meantime.Good Luck!
