how might effective communication skill decrease conflicts that could arise within an organization?

There is a feeling that there should be no conflict, that we should all just get along. Not gonna happen. So what to do? Effective communication, and conflict management education won’t decrease conflicts but will give people the knowledge to deal with them. Conflict is a necessary part of the evolution of a group. I was terrified to deal with conflict directly after being promoted to a supervisor. After some good training, I was able to sit people down and go through the process. Everyone is better off and able to communicate afterward. Great training.
