What is the difference between listening and hearing?? Why so much of importance is given to listening for effective communication?
Our ears allow us to hear anyone or anything…but to be a good listener…one has to put themselves in the person talking shoes….when we listen to someone we are actually showing empathy and placing ourselves in that same situation, with the same feeling and emotion…as opposed to just hearing them…
When you listen, you are able to give better advice, if the person needs it…because you take to heart what they are saying…

Listening is something that is really done from heart on the topic of your own interest whereas hearing is situational and a force done to yourself to understand a topic.
for e.g. you listen to a music…(that is your interest)
and you hear a problem shared by a friend (doesn't matter your interested in or not)
