My manager said to our lead that they are not satisified with my communication skills?

There is another guy who is working with as a contractor ,they are satisfied with the work he has done till now. They don’t how is he going to do on the business related work,
is it negative.

Yes I think that is very negative. Communication is very important. I was just working at a company where communication was not permitted. To me that makes no sense and it costs the company money in the long run. Everything we do requires communication skills. With me I am very direct and there are THOSE PEOPLE that get easily offended. It goes alot deeper than that though, for example this one girl that I was dealing with had set up the company so that all procedures revolved around her, thereby giving this person ultimate job security. In fact she had tried to quit but the company offered her more money and asked her to stay. That isn’t the answer. I read an article that said that people that constantly threaten to quit their jobs are not happy with their jobs. Instead of offering them more money it is best to just do nothing and let them leave. Even though they are making more money their initial reason for wanting to quit is still there, money don’t make that go away. This person treated others like dirt while attempting to make herself always look good, not a team player and taking away from the benefits other employee’s have to offer the company.

Communication is important in everything we do. You can look up articles on improving communication skills and that should help you.

If you become a supervisor you have to be able to communicate effectively with others to get the job done.
