IS communication important in a relationship?
Posted by: | Commentsdo you think it is fair to allow a maximum of fifteen minutes on the phone for teenagers?
Yes, communication is important in a relationship and I would say one of the key parts in a relationship. At least thirteen minutes at maximum would be fair, since teenagers usually have a voice and need to talk. As teenagers, they like to express themselves and talk about anything, so thirteen minutes would be a fair amount. Fifteen minutes isn't enough to actually engage into a conversation.

How important is communication in a relationship? ?
Posted by: | CommentsIs it possible to teach your partner to communicate effectively?
Communication is really important in any relationship, when the communication breaks down so does the relationship.
Couples need to find effective ways to share feelings and say what they need to say without hurting or judging the other person.
Find ways that are fun and not demeaning as this will make the other person close up. Letters, special dinners and quality time are some effective ways. Men need attention as well as women so they need to be treated sensitivly and try to understand both sides of the fence.

How do you deal with culture and communication gaps in their relationship?
Posted by: | CommentsI know that a person can only change so much. But how do you deal with those culture and communication gap issues? Sometimes when talking about things, we have completely different opinions and end up arguing because something I said is not what she expected and she forms an opinion of that is how I really am. We really do love each other, but we worry sometimes our differences in perspective will prevent the relationship from lasting in the future. What is the best way to approach and solve these kinds of problems ? Any feed back would be much appreciated.
That is Exactly the wonder of love, that both of 2, can get over the differences of a culture, because there is a language in the world that is well known by all of us, … and it is … the "language of love".
It doesn't need translation, or words well "explained" …
Explain to her, and ask her to explain to u, in both native languages what is mean to say … you'll understand … both of u will understand … both hearts will understand …
